Uninstall Procedure:
To Uninstall the Abacast Client Software, use the Add/Remove Programs Applet from the Windows Control Panel.
Click Start

  1. Click Settings
  2. Click Control Panel
  3. Select Add/Remove Programs
  4. Find the Abacast Client and select uninstall

Installation Procedure:
Once the download begins, a “File Download” window will appear offering the option of running the Abacast installer from its current location, or by first saving the program to disk.

If you choose to save to disk (hard drive), please note the location where the program is being saved (i.e. C://Program Files/Abacast). You can then run the installer by clicking the Open or Run button when the download completes, or by double clicking Abasetup.exe from the location you saved it to.

Please Note: No Windows System files are modified or replaced by the Abacast Client installation or operation.

If you encounter a web site using Abacast Enabled streaming from which you acquire spyware, adware or other malicious content, please report it to us so that we can notify the web site owner immediately and take appropriate actions.

Integrity
Our client/server applications have been developed under strict requirements and exceed best-practice standards. Continual code audits help ensure that there are no unknown vulnerabilities, and constant development and implementation of new encryption techniques inhibit would-be hackers. If, at any time, you suspect the integrity of your Abacast stream has been compromised, we ask that you contact us immediately at support@abacast.com so that we can verify the status of your stream and take appropriate action if necessary.
